Πολύ μου άρεσε ο κατάλογος του Ιουλίου. Λεφτά όμως υπάρχουν;

Δεν υπάρχει πάντως καμία περίπτωση να αφήσω το Ragemoor και το Black Country να μου ξεφύγουν, ό,τι και να γίνει.

Wally Wood is one of the most celebrated comic artists of all time. His legendary career runs from the glory days of EC Comics' extraordinary line of science fiction titles to the brilliantly subversive Mad Comics (and, later, Mad Magazine). He produced extraordinary illustrations for magazines like Galaxy after EC folded, and worked on the some of the most fondly remembered stories published by Marvel Comics in the mid 1960s. He also co-created the Thunder Agents and was a pioneer in self-publishing. Για όσους δεν το γνωρίζουν ήδη, η Diamond Comic Distributors είναι ο μεγαλύτερος προμηθευτής (χονδρέμπορας) των εξειδικευμένων καταστημάτων με κόμικς στα αγγλικά. Μέσα από τον κατάλογο Previews της εν λόγω εταιρείας, τα καταστήματα λιανικής έχουν τη δυνατότητα να προπαραγγείλουν προιόντα που θα κυκλοφορήσουν στην αγορά δύο μήνες αργότερα (σε ορισμένες περιπτώσεις μπορεί και παραπάνω). Ο κατάλογος έχει συνήθως γύρω στις 400 σελίδες και συνοδεύεται από έναν δεύτερο κατάλογο 100 σελίδων αποκλειστικά για τα προϊόντα της Marvel Comics.

Οποιοδήποτε ελληνικό κατάστημα με κόμικς κι αν επισκεφθείτε (δείτε τη λίστα στα δεξιά -> ), θα μπορέσετε είτε να αγοράσετε το συγκεκριμένο κατάλογο (5 ευρώ περίπου) είτε να τον ξεφυλλίσετε στο κατάστημα, και αν βρείτε κάτι που σας ενδιαφέρει να το παραγγείλετε.

Εάν δεν θέλετε να αγοράσετε τον κατάλογο μπορείτε να επισκεφτείτε το comicbreak.com και να τον κατεβάσετε σε μορφή PDF! Αν και νομίζω ότι είναι "πειρατικό" σκανάρισμα, δεν θεωρώ επιλήψιμη πράξη το "κατέβασμά" του, καθώς σε τελική ανάλυση τα χρήματά σας θα στηρίξουν τόσο τους καλλιτέχνες όσο και τις εκδοτικές εταιρείες εφόσον αγοράζετε τα κόμικς τους...
